TROPICAL EASTERN PACIFIC NETWORK
During five-day scientists from Tropical Eastern Pacific Province were meeting in the Galápagos Islands for talk and propose a regional program for the monitoring of reef communities in this region. This initiative will be key to the development of new knowledge of marine communities.
Reef fishes exhibit an astonishing variety of forms, behaviors, and ecological characteristics that have been shaped by their environment. In this recent work, just published in Ecology, put together life-history traits information of more than 2,200 species throughout the Atlantic and the Eastern Pacific Oceans.
